Music City Maryland Festival:
Sun Rider 9 Productions began the Music City Maryland Festival in May of 2019 in Catonsville, Maryland.
In late 2020 during the peak of a brutal global pandemic a small band of rebels known as “The Crew” took on the role of setting up and organizing the very first music festival in the town of Catonsville, Maryland.
Against all odds and after several postponements The Crew successfully set up the 2021 Music City Maryland Festival on Saturday, August 28th in the heart of Catonsville.
The Festival featured 33 bands on four stages and ran from morning til night. One man named Rick of RFBV Films armed solely with a hand-held camera was able to capture clips of each of the bands that performed on the four main stages that day.

Reggae & Ska Fest
Sun Rider 9 Productions created the first Reggae & Ska Fest in July 0f 2022. The next event will be held on October 3rd 2026.
Sun Scape Live Festival 2021
This began as a three day festival from Friday May 21st – Sunday May 23rd of 2021 at State Fare.

The final year in 2022 was the second annual Sun Scape Live Fest
Sun Scape Live weekly events originated on Friday nights at State Fare in Catonsville and ran from 2021 until 2023.

Music City Summer Fest
Sun Rider 9 Productions began this series in June of 2025. This year’s event will fall on June 20th 2026.
Music City Bluegrass & Roots Festival
The first bluegrass festival was in May of 2025. The next event will be on May 16th 2026.
Oktoberfest
Sun Rider 9 created the seasonal Oktoberfest in Catonsville events in November of 2019. The latest event was in October of 2025.
The Vortex Fall Fest
The Vortex Fall Fest began in September of 2025. This year’s event will be held on October 17th 2026.
The Shakedown
The Shakedown began at The Vortex in July of 2024. This year’s Shakedown Festival will be on June 6th 2026.
